What are your supplies and food requirements?
In order to provide the best affordable care and learning experience for your child, Grace’s Little Angels will not serve food. Parents are asked to pack bag lunches filled with healthy snacks, drinks, and foods. No candy please.
Each family is asked to provide:
1 Clorox or Lysol wipes, 1 box of tissues, 1 box of quart size baggies, 1 crib sheet and blanket, & extra clothes (season appropriate)
What about potty training?
Children do not have to be potty trained for the two’s class, but skills will be taught and encouraged. Please have your child wear pull ups instead of diapers and provide pull ups and wipes as part of your supplies. Children must be completely potty trained to enroll in 4 year old class.
Do you have enrollment limits?
To ensure the best care in meeting the needs of each child, enrollment is limited to a ratio of 1 adult to 10 children.
What are your safety regulations?
Grace’s Little Angels exceeds the Virginia State regulations for a child care center operated by a church. We will conduct monthly fire drills, state criminal background checks, and child abuse and neglect registry checks for employees. We require CPR and First Aid training for employees and regular inspections by both the Fire Marshal and the Health Department.
What are your daily hours?
School is in session from 6:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. at Grace Memorial and 6:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. at High Street.
What about closings for holidays/bad weather?
GLA closings due to inclement weather will be decided by the Director on an individual basis. Parents will receive notification via text and it will also be available on our Facebook page.
